Hi, I’m Lolly – Farmer, Storyteller, and Dream-Weaver of Valais Hideaway.

I’m the heart and hands behind everything you’ll find here at Valais Hideaway. What began as a small herd of farm animals and a lifelong love of storytelling has grown into something truly magical—a place where books, animals, and families come together in unforgettable ways.

Before Frodo and Pippin were the names of beloved sheep, and before goats with big personalities stole hearts, I spent years working with children and animals in many different settings. I witnessed how both could light up a child’s face, calm a restless spirit, and teach meaningful lessons that last a lifetime.

That’s what inspired me to build Valais Hideaway—a place where children don’t just read about kindness, empathy, and courage... they live those values. I started writing the Farmkins™ Golden Rule Book Series so that every animal on the farm could become a character that kids could read about, love, and then actually meet in real life.

From there, the vision expanded naturally: a companion app where kids earn rewards for kind choices, a monthly book club with interactive merch, and immersive farm-stay experiences that bring stories to life. Every piece fits together to create a world where learning and love go hand in hand.

Valais Hideaway isn’t just a business for me—it’s a calling. Every story, every cuddle, every family moment is crafted with care to bring joy, spark wonder, and make the world a little bit kinder.
